So, tomorrow is another SOLD OUT Sunny 95 Girls Night Out!! This time around we’re back to Whole Foods Market, and if you’re like me you love these events not because you get to enjoy fantastic wine, appetizers and desserts from the Whole Foods Chefs, but because you also get to do lots of fun girly things!! Because I’m about as girly as it gets, my favorite part of the night is checking out the latest trends in fashion, jewelry, shoes, and make up. All this girliness has a tendency to keep me on my toes when it comes to keeping my very full closet organized, and that’s where California Closets come in!! Without them, I’d be in a shambles!! I want to invite you to see just how proud I am about my organizational skills tomorrow with the help of California Closets…see how they’ve helped me keep all my girly possessions in order and see how they can help you too!! Here’s to being a girl!! xo -Trisha-

First and foremost…HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY DADDY!! What a FANTASTIC weekend!! How could you not walk around with a HUGE smile planted on your beautiful face?? I can’t tell you how revived I feel after a weekend of soaking up the sun; flip flops, barefootin in the grass and good times with friends made this weekend the first true celebration of the spring for me! Yesterday I did some grilling with friends, gardening with Tracey (although I have to say I spent most of my time following her around and watching…I’m not much of a gardener and thank her for not holding it against me) and actually drawing with chalk on the sidewalk with Kyrie and Elijah…ahhh, some times it’s good to be a kid again. Happy Monday!

Ok, so I know that when we get in our car we can sometimes forget that there are other’s around us; we kind of become consumed in our own little world and forget that people can actually see what we’re doing in our car space. Such was the case for me today on my way to work. While sitting at a red light I actually watched the guy next to me stick his finger so far up his nose that I seriously thought he was going to cause nerve damage!! We all have bad habits ( I’ll admit to a few myself) but there comes a time in our lives where we need to remember that some of our bad habits are best left behind closed doors, away from the public eye!! Picking your nose in public is DEFINATELY a habit that shouldn’t be shared with innocent, unexpecting eyes! And is it just me? Or is usually men who are the culprits of this very dirty habit done in public?? Seriously guys, I know you’re guys and you’re allowed a certain amount of exception when it comes to good manners, but digging at your nose isn’t only a gross habit when you’re by yourself, but it’s just down right wrong to do where others can watch…ESPECIALLY when you’re a hot guy in your car next to a single woman!! Talk about instant turn off. All I’m saying is PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE think twice the next time you feel the urge to pick!! Grab a tissue and wait til you get home Enjoy the sunshine!! -Trisha

So this weekend I spent time with my friends Mandy and Ryan soaking up the sun and patio hopping on Saturday (how could you NOT do that this weekend?) and actually getting my first farmers tan of the season! Fun!! Sunday was a day of shopping in Cincinnati with my boyfriend and trying VERY hard to stay away from cinnamon rolls. I gotta tell you that Ikea has got something when it comes to spending and eating!! If you’ve never heard of or been to Ikea, may I suggest a road trip to Cincinnati stat!! Not only do they have a wide array of interesting and affordable home furnishings and accessories, but they also have a restaurant AND cinnamon rolls!! Yes, cinnamon rolls!! And the smell of those yummy, warm rolls can certainly have an amazing affect on your shopping habits for sure! I’m blaming the lack of cash flow in my wallet today on the comforting smell of cinnamon rolls…Ikea sure did a number on this girl! Happy Shopping…Trisha

It’s always a big deal for me when I find some new haunt in Columbus to try, and yesterday was a banner day!!! My first visit was in Pickerington at a little gem called “Laura’s Loft” on W. Church Street; if you’re a “Bargain Betty” like myself, then you’re going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!! Laura’s is the home for weekend wharehouse sales that you can only get in on every Friday through Sunday. Get there early, because it’s first come, first serve on the designer deals we crave!! The great thing is that each weekend there’s new merchandise, so you’re always getting a chance at new items…purses, shoes, jewelry, pants, shirts, bedding…you name it, Laura’s Loft has it!!! AND it’s affordable! My second discovery on my journey for new Columbus favorites was The Mellow Mushroom near Polaris, if you’re a fan of gourmet pizza’s with interesting topping combinations, this is your place to dine. I tried the Philosopher’s Pie and walked away a smarter girl!! Ok, maybe not smarter, but definately happy with my pizza choice and the full belly that came with it Do you have any favorite Columbus spots that are off the beaten path? Let me know about them, I’m always looking for some place new to visit! Have a SUPER weekend!! Trisha

Every once in a while a show comes along that I just know I CAN’T miss and such is the case this evening. His album is called “Some Mad Hope’ and his hit single “Come On Get Higher” is being played EVERYWHERE right now!1 I’m talking about Matt Nathanson and he takes the stage tonight at The LC! Tickets are still available, so if you’re looking for something fun to do this evening that will keep you out of the rain, I’ll see you there! Happy Tuesday!! Trisha
